7 Reasons to Trade Hard Building Blocks for Squishy Gummy Blocks

If you've ever hopped across the living room holding one foot at 10 p.m., this list is for you.

1. It hurts because it's hard, not because it was left out

Every house with little builders has the moment: socks, dark hallway, one block under your heel.

A small rigid block puts all your weight on one corner. That's the stab. A soft block squishes under your foot instead.

2. Bins and rules can't catch every piece

Bins with lids, play mats with edges, the clean-up-before-bed rule: they all help.

But one block always rolls under the couch or into the hall, and a hard one still hurts when you find it with your foot.

3. Soft blocks that still build

These blocks are soft, see-through and squeezable, and they still stack and connect.

Press them together to build towers and shapes. Squeeze one and it bounces back to shape.

4. Squeeze first, build second

The gummy feel is half the fun: kids squish, bend and stretch them between builds.

When a tower comes down, it lands softly instead of clattering across the floor, and a thrown block doesn't sting.

5. The honest trade-offs

Soft blocks don't click together as tightly as hard bricks, so tall towers can flop.

They pick up hair, lint and dust, so plan on a rinse now and then. Small parts: ages 3 and up, not for kids who still mouth toys.

6. Rinse them in the sink

Mild soap and water, a quick rinse, air dry, back in the bin.

About 30 to 40 pieces per set, and light enough to tuck into a birthday bag or stocking.

7. Two sets for $30

Every order is Buy 1, Get 1 Free: two sets for $30, which is $15 a set. Double the pieces, or one for home and one to give.

4 sets are $60 and 6 are $90. Every order has a 30-day money-back guarantee.
